Updated: Jul 2, 2018

Sushi Go! Came out in 2013 and got nominated for some well earned awards:

2015 UK Games Expo Awards Best General Card Game Winner 2015 Origins Awards Best Card Game Nominee 2015 Nederlandse Spellenprijs Best Family Game Nominee 2015 Boardgames Australia Awards Best Australian Game Winner 2013 Golden Geek Best Family Board Game Nominee 2013 Golden Geek Best Card Game Nominee

Sushi Go! is a set making card game using Sushi (surprise!)

Different types of sets score different points.

Some set scores are a competition between the players to see who has the most of a certain card type.

Sushi Go! Is played in 3 rounds. Each round consists of:

Start a round by dealing out a hand of cards to each player.

Each player places a card that they want to keep face down in front of them. All players simultaneously turn the cards face up.

Pass your remaining hand face down to the player on your left.

Repeat until all cards from everyone’s hands have been played.

Score the round.

The player with the highest score at the end of the third round wins.

High quality game pieces and a nice metal box. Good art work.

A great game to throw in your backpack for travel.

Plays in 15-20 minutes.

A light game for family or to kickoff/end game nights.

The Good: Fun, engaging game for the family. The pass mechanism keeps everyone involved.

The Bad: Sushi Go has a little too much luck for me but still like playing it with the family.

The Dastardly: This game always makes me hungry!
